Erich   Von   Daniken   grew   up   in   a   family   who followed   strong   catholic   rules.      As   a   young child,   Erich   was      a   free-minded   spirit,   and   a rebel   at   heart.      Erich’s   father   felt   that   his son    would    require    strong    education    and discipline   in   life   by   enrolling   him   to   Jesuits boarding    school        in    Fribourg,    Switzer- land.At         this   boarding   school   Erich   studied Latin     &     Greek,     whilst     translating     old religious   texts.   Already   at   his   tender   age, Erich   began   to   question   the   nature   of   god and    religions.“What    these    texts    refer    to, can   never   be   an   almighty   god      -   young Erich    thought    to    himself.        This    Being makes   mistakes   and   is   not   out   of   time!” Erich   curiosity      to   know   if   other   cultures around   the   world   share   similar   stories   or belief   systems   sets   him   on   a   journey   which in   later   years   became   the   most   compelling revelations of our times.
